• 9:30 AM/3:30 PM - Explore Wat Mahathat, an ancient temple built in the 13th century, holding the Buddha's holy relic and steeped in Ayutthaya's rich history.
• 10:15 AM/4:15 PM - Next, head to Wat Yai Chai Mongkhon, known as the "Great Monastery of Auspicious Victory." This active temple with a dominating tower was built in the second half of the 14th century. Despite being destroyed in 1767, it has been restored and is a fascinating visit.
• 10:45 AM/4:45 PM - Our next stop is Wat Chaiwatthanaram, an iconic and well-preserved temple celebrated for its Khmer-style architecture and riverside location. Join locals in traditional attire for evening prayers and keep an eye out for bats at sunset. Return later to appreciate the illuminated temple.
